Yeah, yeah, yeah. Fortunately, that’s not the case with us. We know how to have a good time. Isn’t it obvious in C&I Dailies Episode 10?
Yes, we are professionals, Yes, we create art to pay the bills. Yes, we work 60 hour weeks [most of us]. But that is not all that we do.
We also create art when we are inspired. That’s the lifeline to our sanity. It’s never all work and no play. It’s freedom of expression in its most unrestrained capacity.
That’s how we do things here.
We’re not in the business of creating art purely for the money.
Even when taking on a project for a client, we do so because we have a connection with the project, the brand, the message, and the intention. Like this creative marketing concept we created for Triumph Motorcycles.
From start to finish, the whole enterprise is a shared passion. We push the bounds of our own creativity to bring our clients’ visions to life — to share their stories in the most captivating means possible — because we care.
However…
Outside of client work, there is also the need to create our own art for the pure sake of creating.
Building something with no financial gain in mind is actually quite freeing. There is no win or lose. No accomplishment or failure.
It’s creativity. Raw, pure creativity. In fact, that is exactly what C&I Dailies Episode 10 is, too.
Some creative professionals lose that mindset along the way. It’s natural. It’s what adults do.
We apologize if those words cut deep. They were by no means an insult. It is a reality. We adult frequently, too — it seems like we have been adulting way more often than not nowadays, but what can we say, business is boomin’
At any rate, if you can’t tell, we know when to kick back and have fun.
We recommend you do the same, otherwise, you may find yourself hanging on the back of a moving truck chasing after your sanity.

It could be anything. The passion could come from anywhere. Don’t ignore it. Don’t let your adulthood tell you that you don’t have the time or that you’re too busy. That’s BS!
