We started working with Montce Swim well over seven years ago. Ali Grief, the founder and head designer, is based in Fort Lauderdale where our studio’s headquarters is, so it only natural that we would collaborate on marketing Montce.
What started as a few video productions to get her name off the ground, evolved into a global marketing push to situate her brand among the top swimwear fashion designers in the industry. We encouraged Montce to branch out from the local market in pursuit of global recognition. This led us to Los Angeles, where we created these gorgeous videos for her business.
One was filmed in downtown L.A. and plays on the wanderlust style of the time. The other was filmed at Matador Beach to advertise a limited edition bikini that Ali Grief designed exclusively for our apparel line at the Uncreative Shop.
Magic Leap is an American startup company that superimposes 3D computer-generated imagery over real-world objects. By projecting a digital light field into the user’s eye they achieve an augmented reality experience that is wildly beautiful and useful for both entertainment and practical purposes.
We spearheaded media production for Magic Leap, providing their team with a series of video productions to advertise their product, educate audiences on their company culture, and show how involved the Magic Leap network is.
This is one of our favorite videos we produced for Magic Leap. We traveled to multiple countries from San Francisco, New Zealand, Switzerland, and beyond. We filmed interviews with engineers who shared their inspirations and aspirations, as well as their visions for AR. This unscripted take made the brand and product more approachable, and it also made Magic Leap’s company culture relatable to people both involved in the company and those hearing about it for the first time.

Komuso Design is a fashion company that designed a practical tool for anxiety and stress relief. Their product, The Shift, doubles as stylish stainless steel necklace and stress reducer. By breathing into The Shift, you will reach the ideal exhale which is scientifically proven to lower anxiety related symptoms.
We’ve been working with Komuso for years, producing photography and video productions, as well as email marketing campaigns and social media advertisements. The vibe of their brand is worldly, much like a wanderlust mentality. Though they are based in Fort Lauderdale, they want to show that their brand has a global presence. So, we often travel to exotic locations around the world to produce media for them.
In addition to filming in places like the Utah Salt Flats, we recently ventured into Big Sur in California to film this stunning company profile video. What started as a 1-minute video quickly evolved into this 6-minute mini documentary. The footage was just too good and the setting too inviting. We had to go the extra mile.
‘One Step’ is the headline track for Black Violin’s latest album, Take The Stairs, which released November 1st, 2019. When we first listened to the single, we immediately felt a connection to the song and the message therein. We knew that we wanted to create a music video that was equally powerful. To do that, we had to stoke controversy and take a stance. Black Violin’s song is an anthem. The video we produced together is a war cry.
We secured a permit to shoot on a rooftop overlooking downtown Los Angeles. But that’s not the crazy part. The craziness came when we rented a crane and lifted a grand piano to the roof. We had to pull some strings to get it done, but as you can see, we made it work.
The rooftop shots proved essential in the video. They make it seem like Wil and Kev are preaching to the world…because they are.
Kinetix 365 is a movement therapy clinic based in Beverly Hills. They cater to an upscale clientele who wants to stay active in their later years, as well as professional athletes, like the U.S. Women’s Track Team.
Kinetix 365 hired us to help them build authority in the sports and fitness industry. We knew the quickest path to the top lied in video production, so we got to work creating a diverse selection of videos that introduced their fitness experts, provided exercise tutorials, and highlighting the L.A. fitness culture.
These are just a few of our favorites that we filmed at Venice Beach in L.A.
The Uncreative Shop is a lifestyle and apparel brand that unites creative professionals with simple, practical, and edgy fashion. The X in the Uncreative Shop stands for creatio ex nihilo, which is Latin for “creation out of nothing.” And that’s exactly what we wanted to do: create something for the pure sake of expression.
Our brand is based in L.A. We manufacture all of the clothing locally and sell worldwide. When we first started branding the Uncreative Shop, we hit up two west coast locales: Los Angeles (obviously) and Maui. Why Maui? Because we’re here to push the folds of our creativity and venture wherever inspiration leads us. The fact that an unexpected slot opened up in our calendar was also reason enough to hop on a plane last minute.
Here are a few of our favorite videos from the L.A. and Hawaii shoots. Check out the uncreativeshop.com to join the movement.

You cannot time inspiration. It comes when it wants to. This video production is the product of a sudden surge of creative passion. A vision led to an idea, which in turn led to this.
We wanted to shoot a jewelry advertisement at our studio in downtown Los Angeles, but we did not want to focus on the jewelry. We want a model who would steal the show. Enter, Mary Danielle.
Mary Danielle is an L.A. based model and was absolutely perfect for this roll.
Thunder Studios hired us to cover their latest Thunder Gaming competition in Los Angeles. This is the arena “Where esports stories are told.” This year’s Thunder Gaming competition featured the industries top video gaming personalities facing off for a Super Smash Bros $20,000 grand prize.
During Thunder Studios’ broadcast of the eSports event, our team filmed live interviews with the gamers and the commentators, conducted video edits [on the spot right there in the arena] for the live broadcast, and filmed tons of B-roll footage for future coverage of the event. Below is a dope highlight reel we filmed and edited to show the progression of the competition as it unfolded.
Los Angeles has long been a hub for creative professionals in most every industry. We’re talking fashion, photography, videography, hair, cuisine, architecture, dentistry… If you can name it, there’s someone out here adding a super original and creative spin to their work. We find these types of people — the die hards with big ambitions — and invite to share their perspectives so that we may all broaden our worldview.
We film Uncreative Radio in New York City, Los Angeles, and Fort Lauderdale. Every week, C&I Studios CEO, Joshua Miller, connects with industry leaders, up-and-comers, artists, politicians, musicians, entrepreneurs, and more to discuss current events and the moments that are shaping our generation. This unscripted take on life in the U.S. encourages audiences to think differently and act with purpose to create positive change in our lifetimes. We have opinions and we are not afraid to share them or to stand by them. This is our voice; our air. And we will never be silenced.
Think of Uncreative Radio this way… History is being written every single day and if you aren’t the one writing your story, then someone else is doing it for you. So, we encourage you to watch, listen, comment, and challenge the status quo. It’s time you start thinking for yourself.
