Susie Greenberg
When Community Service Meets Political Action
Susie Greenberg, attorney and longtime community advocate, approached us during her competitive campaign for Georgia House District 53 – a race political scientists called the most interesting state-level contest in Georgia. With 28 years of advocacy experience in the Buckhead/Sandy Springs area, from serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster children to leading educational initiatives, Greenberg needed content that translated her extensive volunteer work into electoral credibility.
We developed compelling video pieces that showcased Greenberg’s authentic commitment to public service and policy expertise on reproductive rights, public education, and healthcare access. Our campaign storytelling approach emphasized her personal journey as a breast cancer survivor and mother of four, helping voters in this competitive Atlanta suburb connect her community advocacy to her legislative priorities in a race that drew national attention and significant fundraising.

Capturing Advocacy In Action
Our primary video centered on Greenberg’s work with Sandy Springs Education Force, filming at a local high school where her volunteer college counseling demonstrates her hands-on approach to community service. We captured her natural ease discussing educational equity with students, with late afternoon light streaming through classroom windows as she reviewed college applications. The setting reinforced her deep community roots : this wasn’t campaign staging, but genuine advocacy work spanning decades. We kept our approach authentic: natural lighting, conversational pacing, letting Greenberg explain how her experience navigating healthcare systems as a cancer survivor shapes her understanding of policy challenges facing Georgia families.
Demonstrating Legislative Readiness
The second video required balancing Greenberg’s compelling personal story with her comprehensive policy platform on reproductive rights, gun safety, and economic opportunity. We filmed at Temple Sinai where she co-founded the Refugee Relief Committee, capturing the collaborative environment where her legislative advocacy skills developed. The challenge was showing how her background as a Northwestern-trained attorney and small business owner translates to effective representation without losing the authentic community connection that defines her campaign. We focused on genuine moments: Greenberg reviewing voter outreach data that showed District 53’s competitive nature, her natural ability to explain complex policy positions in accessible terms, the personal conviction evident when she discusses restoring reproductive freedoms and strengthening public schools as fundamental Georgia values.
