Anker Power brought C&I Studios to California to produce a commercial for the Anker Powerhouse, the portable power station built for life off the grid. The brief was simple and ambitious: capture the freedom of a family camping trip, powered from start to finish by Anker.

Our team handled the production end to end — concept and storyboarding, talent and location scouting, and a full crew on a remote outdoor set. Our experience with product-driven, outdoor-themed video production made us the natural choice to turn Anker’s vision into a polished, broadcast-ready spot with the Powerhouse at the center of the story.

Off the Grid

We shot the spot on location in California, following a family off the grid with the Anker Powerhouse keeping everything running. Every frame was built to feel real, putting the product to work in the moments it was made for. Behind it was a full crew on a remote outdoor set, adapting on the fly to keep the shoot moving and the product front and center.

Crafting the Concept

We conceptualized every aspect of production for the entire commercial from scratch, from storyboarding to talent sourcing to location scouting and prop acquisition. Our team’s creativity and resourcefulness were put to the test, particularly in the face of the remote location challenges. Leveraging the Anker Powerhouse product in the shoot not only aligned with the brand’s objectives but also provided a firsthand demonstration of its capabilities.
