What is professional email hosting?
Professional email hosting gives you email addresses on your own domain — like you@yourbusiness.com instead of a free @gmail.com address. It’s the same technology behind services like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, but without the bundled apps you may not need. You get reliable, secure email that looks professional to clients and customers.
What do I get with my plan?
Every plan includes email on your custom domain, unlimited email addresses (info@, hello@, team@, etc.), IMAP and SMTP access so you can use any mail app, built-in spam and virus filtering, SSL encryption, webmail access, and hands-on support from our team. The only variable is how much storage you choose.
How much storage do I need?
Most small businesses and solo professionals use 2–5 GB per year. If you mainly send and receive text emails, 5 GB will last you several years. If you frequently send large attachments (photos, PDFs, videos), consider 10 GB. The average business email is about 75 KB — so 5 GB holds roughly 65,000 emails.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. You can increase your storage at any time. Just contact us and we’ll adjust your plan — no data migration needed, no downtime. Your monthly rate simply adjusts to reflect the new storage amount at $1/GB.
Can I have multiple email addresses?
Yes — every plan includes unlimited email addresses. You can create as many as you need: personal addresses (brenda@), departmental addresses (info@, billing@, support@), and forwarders. They all share your storage pool, so you only pay once.
What apps can I use?
Any email app that supports IMAP or SMTP — which is essentially all of them. This includes Apple Mail, Microsoft Outlook, Gmail (the app), Thunderbird, Spark, and any other standard email client on desktop or mobile. We also provide webmail access you can use from any browser.
Do you migrate my existing emails?
Yes. If you’re moving from Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, or any other provider, we can transfer your entire email history to your new mailbox. Nothing gets left behind — all your folders, sent mail, and archived messages come with you. Migration is an optional add-on service.
How much does migration cost?
Migration pricing is based on how much email you currently have. Under 5 GB is a flat $50. Between 5–15 GB is $100. For mailboxes over 15 GB, contact us for a custom quote. Not sure how much email you have? We’ll check for you at no charge.
What happens if I go over my storage?
We’ll let you know before you hit your limit. You can either clean out old emails or upgrade to a larger plan. We won’t delete your emails or cut off your service without warning — we’ll always reach out first and give you time to decide.
What about spam protection?
Enterprise-grade spam filtering is included on every plan at no extra cost. Our system blocks the vast majority of spam and phishing attempts before they reach your inbox. It also includes virus scanning on incoming attachments.
Can I use this with my existing domain?
Yes. If you already own a domain, we simply update your DNS records to point email to our servers. Your website stays exactly where it is — only email routing changes. If you don’t have a domain yet, we can help you get one.
What if I need more than 15 GB?
Contact us directly. For larger storage requirements, we offer volume pricing that’s more cost-effective than the standard per-GB rate. We’ll work with you to find the right plan for your needs.
How do I cancel?
Just contact us with 30 days’ notice. No contracts, no cancellation fees, no runaround. We’ll help you export your emails if you’re moving to another provider.
