Tiffany Hughes
When Fresh Perspective Meets Political Leadership
Tiffany Hughes approached us during her groundbreaking campaign for Florida House District 39 – a newly created district serving northwestern Orange County and western Seminole County. As a 31-year-old business owner, NAACP president, and mother, Hughes represented a voice rarely heard in Florida politics: someone who understood both the entrepreneurial challenges and community needs of her diverse district.
We developed authentic video content that showcased Hughes’ unique combination of business acumen and community advocacy. Our campaign storytelling approach focused on her genuine connections to local issues like affordable housing and healthcare access, helping her connect with voters in this evenly split purple district.

Showcasing Entrepreneurial Leadership
Our primary video centered on Hughes at her staffing business, KBI Staffing Solutions, where morning light streamed through office windows as she discussed the challenges facing small business owners in Central Florida. We captured her natural authority when explaining how healthcare costs affect her ability to offer competitive benefits to employees. The setting wasn’t chosen for polish – it was chosen for authenticity. This was where Hughes learned firsthand about the policy gaps affecting working families. We kept our approach conversational: handheld camera work, natural lighting, letting her explain complex issues with the clarity that made her effective as a community leader.
Connecting Community Service To Legislative Goals
The second video required showing Hughes’ deep community roots beyond her business experience. We filmed during one of her NAACP meetings in Apopka, capturing the genuine relationships she’d built across party lines. The challenge was demonstrating her collaborative approach – her belief that “there are no enemies in the community you work in” – without losing the authentic energy that drove her grassroots support. We focused on small moments: Hughes listening intently to constituent concerns, her natural ability to explain how state policy affects local families, the respect evident when community members sought her guidance on housing and healthcare issues.
