Our Approach

Artist First

Every music video production starts with the music. We listen before we shoot. The tempo, the mood, the story inside the track: that is what drives the visual concept. We do not impose a style on the artist. We extract what is already there and put it on screen.

C&I Studios has produced music videos for Grammy-nominated artists like Billy Joel, John Legend, Goo Goo Dolls, and Black Violin, as well as independent musicians and global brands. Whether it is a performance piece, a narrative-driven short film, or a hybrid concept, we bring the same level of music video production to every project because the work is what matters.

As a full-service music video production company, we handle everything in-house: creative direction, location scouting, casting, cinematography on RED cameras, editing, color grading in DaVinci Resolve, and final delivery for every platform. No subcontracting. One team from the first call to the final master.

FAQ

Music Video Production Questions

How much does music video production cost?

Music video production costs vary based on concept complexity, location, talent, crew size, and post-production requirements. C&I Studios works with budgets ranging from independent artist projects to large-scale label productions. Every project is custom-scoped after an initial conversation about your creative vision and goals.

What is the music video production process?

Our music video production process begins with a creative consultation where we listen to the track and discuss the artist's vision. From there, we develop a treatment with visual concepts, mood boards, and storyboards. Once approved, we move into pre-production (casting, locations, scheduling), followed by the shoot day on RED cinema cameras, and then post-production including editing, color grading, VFX, and final mastering for distribution.

Where do you shoot music videos?

We shoot music videos at our 30,000 sq ft production studio in Fort Lauderdale (equipped with cyc walls, green screen stages, and private sets), on location anywhere in the United States, and internationally. With offices in Los Angeles and New York City, we can mobilize crews in any major market.

How long does it take to produce a music video?

A typical music video production timeline is 4 to 8 weeks from initial concept to final delivery. This includes 1 to 2 weeks of pre-production, 1 to 2 shoot days, and 2 to 4 weeks of post-production. Rush timelines are available depending on scope and crew availability.

What formats do you deliver?

We deliver music videos in every format required for modern distribution: YouTube (4K), Vevo, Apple Music, Spotify Canvas, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, broadcast television, and theatrical. All files are encoded to platform specifications and delivered ready to upload.

Do you work with independent artists?

Yes. C&I Studios works with artists at every level, from independent musicians releasing their first single to Grammy-nominated acts. We believe the quality of the production should match the quality of the music regardless of budget. Every artist who walks through our doors gets the same creative commitment and professional execution.
