The Joy of Coca-Cola

Think back to your earliest memory of drinking a Coca-Cola…

 

Coca-Cola has long been a memorable part of American life and of childhood ever since that first sizzle and “Ahhhhh.” We always dreamed of doing a commercial for Coca-Cola and that dream came true a few years ago when we created this ad.

 

The story is based on a true tale from Josh’s life. It’s meant to inspire the viewer and bring them back to their childhood.

 

We had a blast creating this ad. It lives so near and dear to our hearts that even with the few complications we encountered, no moment was empty of fun. It was raining when we started filming, so it was tough keeping the cameras dry but at the end of the day, working with the kids was really fun. Filmmaking is always best when it is done as a team, and we were really excited to produce this spot, so the fun came effortlessly.

 

Happiness originates from so many different instances in life. We think the joy that comes from cracking open a bottle of Coca-Cola is a universal sensation. So, next time you find yourself with a glass Coca-Cola bottle, light up a bottle rocket and think of us.

Juicery RX

Juicery RX is more than a lifestyle. It is the science of healthy living.

Through alchemy inspired herbal remedies, tonics, and elixirs, the nutritional scientists at Juicery RX create a dining experience that reconnects mankind with delicious preparations that purify, detoxify and energize.

The Purpose

Juicery RX, an organic cold-pressed juice bar, approached us with a desire to establish themselves as regional experts in nutrition and to drive more traffic to their store. We knew this would require a comprehensive approach, so we took on the challenge.

 

Our marketing plan focused extensively on high-quality photography and narrative-driven video production. Many nutritional health food brands focus their initial branding efforts on lifestyle marketing, however, for Juicery RX their passion for food and healthy living exists in the science of nutrition and the chemistry of combining raw ingredients. This was our angle. Portraying this unique scientific approach to healthy living was the basis of our branding campaign. Through extensive market research, we determined this brand personality would best represent our product in the market. After establishing the superiority of our product we could more successfully create a lifestyle attachment to the Juicery RX brand.

The Challenge

Juicery RX was the first dining concept of its kind in the area. Their business had no credibility in the market and no third-party recognition. We had to build their brand from scratch, which required a very focused marketing scheme. Combined with a broad range of content and a heavy load of information, this marketing strategy greatly depended on succinct, narrative-driven media and copywriting. Our success would be measured by foot traffic – brand-awareness that translated into customers visiting the brick and mortar juice bar. Because of this, we had to generate engaging social media content that would encourage our users to take action and dine at Juicery RX.

 

The secondary challenge was showing how the Juicery RX science translates into the final product. Their concept involves so much more than cooking with healthy ingredients to deliver on a promise of healthy food. It involves extreme precision, consistent measurements, expertly crafted formulas, specifically designed pharmaceutical grade supplements, and a deep understanding of the human body and how certain foods impact genetic expression. Explaining this level of expertise – of chemistry and anatomy – in our media while keeping our audience interested and engaged with our messaging was one of our greatest marketing challenges.

Marketing Solutions

We determined that a consistent social media presence would allow Juicery RX to gain the widest audience. We developed a solid brand identity through stunning imagery, detailed video production and confident, well-informed language. We used the owner’s background in pharmacy to fine-tune our unique voice, ultimately creating a tone that was elevated by proven science.

 

Once we established the Juicery RX brand as an authority on healthy living and holistic culinary action we facilitated third-party collaborations. We paired our brand with relatable businesses, like yoga studios and boxing gyms, to demonstrate the connection between our brand and its impact on other healthy lifestyles. These collaborations helped to spearhead brand growth and situate JuiceryRx as the regional expert in the industry.

The Results

We have been able to continuously build an interesting and attractive brand that has produced an engaging audience.  The numbers don’t lie, our monthly reports reflect that Juicery Rx is benefitting from significant increases in followers and engagement each month, and they have been benefitting from the increased foot traffic that has come into their location as a result.

Emphasis On Science

The JuiceryRx methodology is a big selling point, and something we capitalized on to distinguish our brand from the competition. The level of scientific attentiveness that goes into the making of each product adds a lot of value to the company’s overall image. We chose to demonstrate this processes with eye-catching, ultra-specific media. Doing so strengthened the bond between brand and consumer, becoming the catalyst to our lifestyle marketing campaign, which really elevated our social media presence.

Chemistry in Nature

JuiceryRx’s mission it to purify your life through nutrition. This concept involves blending nature and science to elevate your diet. We showcased their application of potent herbal extracts and all-natural, 100% organic ingredients with a mixture of deeply saturated tones and vibrant colors.

 

The media tells a story. We wanted to walk the consumer from the farm where their food is sourced to the kitchen where their food is prepared. What came from this approach was a collection of intimate, delicate content that fully portrays the level of care and expertise exercised by the nutritional experts at JuiceryRx.

PetMio Smart Nutrition came to C&I looking to establish an online presence by revamping their old site, using brand-awareness to ultimately guide traffic to their Kickstarter campaign.

Challenge

In order to build a solid website that was both fun, and effective at demonstrating all of PetMio’s components to their Kickstarter, our designers needed to design an experience that was enjoyable to navigate while presenting all their services in a clear, understandable manner.

Process

Our strategy to tell the PetMio story presents the viewer with a video we made for their Kickstarter Campaign. Alongside our design and photography, we effectively brought warmth and life into the brand.

 

Our solution was a fluid design that showcased the life and warmth of pets, all while informing the audience about PetMio’s services and smart devices. The look and feel of the design are memorable and has succeeded in bringing in traffic to their Kickstarter campaign.

Design

Our main goal was to visually merge science and fun into a website that informs viewers what PetMio is all about to establish their credibility within the dog food and smart device market. This meant creating customized design elements to showcase their product’s various features in a clear format.

We liked Reed’s Soda so much that we did a concept shoot with their Virgil’s Root Beer. We maneuvered the soda in different positions – emphasizing what makes it so exceptional: its ingredients.

 

It’s always a great day for us when we get the opportunity to work with a company that allows us to work with a product we already are in love with.

Beanfields Snacks

Beanfields Snacks is a family run company with the primary goal of helping improve the global food supply by creating delicious, plant-based, Non-GMO snacks, with beans as the main ingredient.

 

Getting its start in 2011, Reed Glidden, his wife Liza Braude-Glidden and Reed’s brother, Roy Glidden put their years of expertise in the in the natural foods industry into Beanfields chips.

 

They have since grown to be a multi national B Corp certified company, selling their bean and rice chips all over the United States, Canada, Australia and other countries.

 

They contracted our services to help produce a set of spots for their social media and web output. We did the motion graphics and shot all six spots at our studio in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Jailbreak Brewing

Established in 2013, Jailbreak Brewing opened its doors with a goal in mind: to escape the drama that your daily life presents you with.

 

With a motto that resonates within everyone’s desire to express themselves freely, Jailbreak has brought together a group of professionals with the common interest of creating something different, and dedicating their lives to a bigger whole.

 

Their 16,000 square foot brewing facility is in full view of their tasting room so that you can witness the future batches being made as you sip on their refreshing brews ready for consumption.

 

We shot some product photography for a couple of their beers, with their aesthetic and overall company in mind.

Finn Partners | Get a Taste of Jamaica

The South Beach Food and Wine Festival takes place in Miami every year. However, they are trying to take this culinary celebration international.  The first extension was planned for a Taste of Jamaica, so for this year’s food and wine festival featured Jamaican cuisine. The South Beach Food and Wine Festival invited Jamaica’s most famous chefs to take over the festival and treat guests to a night of Caribbean flavors. We were asked to film the event.

 

Our mission was to capture the spirit of Jamaica at the South Beach Food and Wine Festival. They wanted a video that you could almost get a taste of Jamaica in every shot. The magic and success of this video lie in the post-production editing work and our equipment. We used awesome RED cameras capable of filming stellar shots in low light. Our cameras and camera work really preserved the color and atmosphere of the event. During post-production, we used a quick editing style to capture the vibe and pace of the event. This is why the video is so lively as if you are actually there.

 

We pulled off some magic to capture this story and tell an accurate narrative of the life and energy of the South Beach Food and Wine Festival in Miami. Perhaps we will be invited to Taste of Jamaica by Finn Partners again to help tell the next chapter of this exciting culinary saga.

Our friends at Gulf Stream Media are frequent collaborators with us when it comes to their editorials. We have worked closely with them for a number of projects featured in their Gold Coast Magazine.

 

Below are a couple of projects we have helped them shoot.

 

The first showcases their picks for a “Best New Restaurants” article featured in Fort Lauderdale Magazine, Gold Coast Magazine, and Boca Life Magazine. We got to photograph restaurants such as The Grove, Grille 401, Thasos Greek Taverna, and The Foxy Brown among others.

 

We also, more recently, got to shoot an editorial for Gold Coast Magazine centered around chefs on the rise around Fort Lauderdale. This project was more focused on the specific people pulling the strings in the kitchen and less on the establishments that front them.

 

As part of Gold Coast Magazine’s foodie issue, they like to focus in on exalting culinary individuals that are making the service industry flourish in Fort Lauderdale daily.

Basil Hayden is one finest bourbon whiskeys on the market today. Owned by the Jim Beam Brands Company, Basil Hayden prides themselves in everything that is handmade specifically with the finest ingredients available. Keeping that in mind, we approached this spot with a mindset of handcrafted precision and care.

 

We asked our friend Alicia Rose, who bartends at our Next Door location, to mix one of our specialty cocktails: The William Shakespeare. We like to build everything we do from the ground up in order to make sure we apply our high standards to the details of what we do, so collaborating with a brand like Basil Hayden is always a pleasure.
