Patricia Sigman
When Legal Expertise Meets Community Leadership
Patricia Sigman is a Board Certified Labor and Employment attorney and the founder of Sigman & Sigman P.A. She came to us during her 2020 campaign for Florida Senate District 9 with more than 31 years of practice across the Greater Orlando area and a record of fighting for workers rights, whistleblowers, and people facing discrimination.
Her campaign needed video that carried that record into a message Central Florida voters would trust. We built a set of pieces around her commitment to working families and her deep roots in Seminole County, connecting her courtroom experience to her plans for Florida’s unemployment system, its environment, and the workers she has represented for decades.
Showcasing Legal Advocacy
Our primary video centered on Sigman in her Altamonte Springs law office, filming during the kind of client work where her command of employment law shows itself. We captured her reviewing whistleblower cases and discrimination claims while morning light came through the office windows and she worked through the strategy behind each one.
The setting did the arguing for us. This was real legal work rather than campaign theater, so we kept the approach quiet, with natural light and respectful camera work, and let Sigman explain how representing employees against powerful corporations shapes the policy she wants to carry to Tallahassee.
Demonstrating Community Impact
The second video had to hold two things at once, her legal credentials and the grassroots work that shaped her. We filmed at Lake Mary High School, where she led the Band Boosters Association and helped build the Ram Tower, in the collaborative setting where her leadership grew outside the courtroom.
The task was to show how being a small business owner and a community volunteer informs the way she thinks about state policy without losing the conviction that drives her. So we stayed on the honest moments, the voter protection work she has led since 2004, the plain way she explains how a broken unemployment system hurts real families, and the resolve in her voice when she talks about protecting Florida’s environment for the next generation.
