Designing a Year of Giving
United Way Broward calendar design
Graphic design and illustration for United Way Broward
United Way Broward partnered with C&I Studios to design a fundraising calendar supporters would want to keep on their walls all year. Inspired by watercolor, our team blended digital and practical mediums into a mixed media aesthetic, giving each month original artwork that reflects United Way’s mission and the communities they serve.
Working with nonprofits is something our creative team takes seriously, because the work directly supports community impact. From graphic design and illustration to photography and video, we bring every discipline under one roof to produce a printed piece donors are proud to display.

A Fundraising Calendar, Designed to Be Kept
United Way Broward commissioned the graphic design of a calendar they wanted to use for fundraising purposes. Inspired in watercolor, the project used digital and practical mediums to achieve its mixed media aesthetic.
Each of the twelve months pairs hand painted watercolor artwork with a clean, modern layout, turning a simple fundraising tool into a keepsake supporters are glad to hang on the wall. The result is a calendar that works all year long keeping United Way Broward’s mission in view every time someone glances up to check the date.
Out in the Community
Beyond the calendar, our team spent time with United Way Broward where the mission actually plays out in classrooms, community rooms, and volunteer events across the county. We photographed the people who make the work happen, from staff and volunteers to the students and families they serve.
These candid moments give the campaign a human face. Natural light photography keeps the focus on real connection, capturing the energy of a community organization at work and giving United Way a library of authentic images for fundraising, social, and outreach.

Capturing Alternative Spring Break
This is the final cut from United Way Broward’s Alternative Spring Break a day when students gave their time off to serve the community. Our team followed it from start to finish, capturing the energy, the teamwork, and the moments that make a day of service worth showing.
Edited into a single short film, the footage gives United Way a piece to share long after the day wraps for recruiting volunteers, thanking partners, and showing the community exactly what their support makes possible.
