Two Town Halls. One Consistent Standard.

We supported H&M through two internal town halls in New York City, each with distinct challenges. The first was a third-party venue we scouted and vetted, and the second was H&M’s NYC headquarters.

 

H&M had a specific requirement for both events: deliver live-streamed events with real-time accessibility in English, Spanish, and Canadian French. We utilized AI and traditional tech to provide translated subtitles and audible voice interpretation, integrated directly into the live streams. Post-event, we delivered all three language transcripts for H&M’s video archives.

Two Unique Town Halls. One Consistent Standard.

We supported H&M through two internal town halls in New York City, each with distinct challenges. For the first, we conducted a full location scout to find a third-party venue that aligned with H&M’s global aesthetic and was fully capable of supporting our live stream infrastructure.

 

The second town hall was hosted at H&M’s NYC headquarters, which required creative solutions to transform their dedicated operational space into a fully built live production set. H&M had a specific requirement for both events: deliver live-streamed events with real-time accessibility in English, Spanish, and Canadian French. We achieved this with a seamless blend of AI and human translated subtitles and audible voice interpretation, integrated directly into the live streams. Post-event, we delivered fully translated transcripts in all three languages for H&M’s video archives.

The H&M Region Americas Summit in Las Vegas was a flagship event—and a massive undertaking. We began with a venue scout and planning session months in advance, working hand-in-hand with the in-house team at the Virgin Hotel and Casino to run a multi-day event inside their largest theater.

 

We coordinated cross-country crew travel, including transporting our 7-ton grip truck from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Our live stream and production crews ran an 8-camera setup, including a jib camera for sweeping cinematic shots. Over four days—including setup, rehearsal, and execution—we directed every element of the show: lighting, music, screen playback, and multi-feed live stream switching.

Lighting is Everything

The purpose of this production was to produce high-quality images for the e-commerce website and social media pages of the global jewelry brand Lola Rose. We understood the assignment! We worked closely with Lola Rose to ensure that we captured their gemstone dials in the best light possible.

 

Jewelry needs to be photographed in a particular lighting that captures their unique details and effortlessly showcases the craftsmanship that goes into creating them. In the case of Lola Rose, we focused on their elegant Malachite watches.

Understanding the Intent of Lola Rose

At C&I Studios, we understand that professionally taken, high-quality, images are the only way to promote high-end jewelry like Lola Rose’s Malachite watches. With this in mind, we captured a variety of content from close-up shots of the watches to videos of the products being worn by models with an array of skin tones.

 

Our thought process behind this was to give the everyday buyer an accurate visual representation of what to expect. By photographing different women with different skin tones, Lola Rose has the ability to expand their brand awareness to women who can relate to the content we produced.

Our Innovative Ideas and Production Knowledge Achieve Impossible Outcomes

Inspired by Lola Rose’s elegant charm and sophistication, our production crew set out to create a space with the same upscale elegance. In order to have the custom set read on screen in the best way possible, our set designers used rigs, mounts, reflectors, and diffusers to create the set you see in the video.

 

We took our time to color match the set to Lola Rose’s exact brand colors and installed decorative panel moulding on the walls; simple details that gave the room the same upscale elegance that Lola Rose exemplifies. It’s considerations like these that elevate our professional storytelling abilities above our competitors. When MLB star Cliff Floyd wanted to market his innovative safety gear for baseball players, he came to us for the whole kitchen sink–everything from branding to product photography to web design. As a MLB player for the Florida Marlins, Cliff saw the dangers of head injuries for players, from pitchers fielding comebackers to youth batters with slower reaction times compared to professionals.

 

He created an innovative product that fits under a standard baseball cap, but he needed help with the visual presentation and a plan to market the product online and in his networks. We provided brand development, product photography and a web design to help launch the Ball Cap Liner.

Branding

The first task was to develop a logo that represents the brand. We listened to the design vision of Cliff and his team, and then developed a logo that was modern, incorporated some personal significance for Cliff, and had appeal in the athletic industry.

We then created product photography that highlighted the features of the protective liner, as well as lifestyle shots to show how people could incorporate them into their uniforms. As for product photography, we shot multiple angles of the Ball Cap Liner in different lighting scenarios to make sure that it was showcased in a professional manner for use on web and social media. With the right combination of photography, web design and branding, we were able to create a comprehensive marketing package that allowed Ball Cap Liner to take off.

Investing in New Marketing Possibilities

Baby Brezza came to us with two innovative baby products they needed help promoting on social media, the automatic Baby Brezza One-Step Sterilizer Dryer and the Formula Pro mixer. The content we created for Baby Brezza’s TikTok aimed to communicate how effective each of these products was and highlight how simple they were to use.

 

During the planning stages, we developed and wrote scripts for 15 concept videos. We explored everything from animated shorts, viral challenge-styled videos, and product-education content. All of the filming was handled by our C&I Studios team in just a single day. We filmed in one location, and at the end of the production produced 10 exciting videos for Baby Brezza’s TikTok audience!

 

Knowing that these videos were headed for TikTok, we pre-planned to film the videos so that they could be edited in post-production to fit the 9:16 aspect ratio of the TikTok interface. The videos we shot were short, detailed, and accompanied by text animations with a C&I Studios original soundtrack. All this information came together to create videos that showcased how fast and efficient Baby Breeza’s products were.

Standing Out from the Crowd

After we wrapped up filming the first seasons of Top Recruiter in Miami, the Human 2 Human TV network producers came to us with a proposal to direct the next seasons of their reality series in London. Producing original content is our passion, and they knew that we’d take a unique approach when filming their series. As an independent studio company we have the ability to go beyond the limitation of traditional filming, and with over a decade of expertise we are constantly way ahead of the game. As always, we used our premium 5k Red Scarlet Dragon and 6k Red Epic cameras to get the highest quality videos.

 

While filming the first two seasons of Top Recruiter, we filmed most of the show on location throughout Miami. For contestant interviews, B-roll clips, trailers, and Top Recruiter’s promotional media, we filmed inside of our fully equipped production studio in Fort Lauderdale. Years later, when we headed to London to film the third and fourth seasons we scouted an enormous castle that was able to house the entire production and crew during filming.

Creating Marketing Materials that Work Together

The video we produced with BB Sheep is versatile enough to be used for multiple of their marketing campaigns. We produced an engaging video of fun music, bright colors, and happy people. We took photographs that mirrored the theme of the video so that any campaign BB Sheep uses both in are seamless. These photos can work as promotional materials as well as product photography for their e-commerce websites. Creating marketing materials that work together will enforce brand awareness for BB Sheep, and in turn boost the reach of their marketing campaigns. We wanted to make sure their products were captured and marketed beautifully to match the beauty of their business.

Something for Everyone

C&I Studios worked with BB Sheep to create a campaign that includes both photography and video. We were able to get amazing footage and photographs with a production team of five to six people using both the Canon 5D and the Red Monstro cameras. We wanted to show off the size diversity of the products BB Sheep sells. It was also important to capture the many different colors available.

Our job was to take the viewers to the heart of their operations.  They were trying to maintain and enhance their unique brand identity while showcasing their meticulously maintained production standards.

Starting from their flawless, and tidy craftsmanship, our camera captures their attention to details, and then their efficient use of state-of-the-art machines and advanced technology to bring the designs to life.

In 30 seconds video, we were able to highlight their step-by-step production process, without leaving anything to viewers’ imagination.

It was a challenging task to cover FTLFLY’s printing operations in a short time. However, our video production team always relish a good challenge, and with the shot and right background music, they were able to pull off a spectacular final product.

 

Marketing & Brand awareness:

Screen Printing is a highly competitive market, when customers have so many options to choose from, it can be difficult to establish a unique identity while upholding the highest production standards.  FTLFLY wanted us to add more value to their unique identity, while not making them look like an outsider. We knew this require a comprehensive and creative approach.

Our marketing and brand awareness campaign was focused on high-quality video production. We knew that FTLFLY had a unique position in the market, and this was a perfect opportunity to mainstream its operations. Showcasing their highly-advanced equipment and the use of advanced technology, to make it look like a seamless operation was the main theme of our campaign.

We want to demonstrate their strong work ethic, their creative input, and how they utilize the technology to deliver the required designs.

Through an extensive marketing strategy and precise brand awareness, we position FTLFLY as a market leader.

 

The Results:

Through well-coordinated brand awareness and marketing, we have helped FTLFLY to earn strong visibility in the market.  Since the branding campaign has launched, their order demand has been doubled. A city where progress and handwork have allowed them to plant roots that span more than 50 years. When they came to us, they were looking for a way to tell this story, a story of humble European origins, and a rich family heritage that unites sophistication and elegance.

 

This once small business had evolved from the early days of importing diamonds to today, where they deliver over four thousand pieces a year. And they needed us to deliver this information, whilst evoking in the viewer their brand’s joint principles of service, quality, value, and trust. For Geneva Seal is more than just about business. They are about legacy.

The Animation

Perhaps the most rewarding challenge of this project was the 2D and 3D animations involved in pulling the whole thing off. Luckily, our graphic design team was ready and eager to rise to the challenge.

 

Our research on the Fulton Market district formed the basis of an intimate study, which was how we were able to capture the authenticity of these iconic buildings in an area known for its hip entertainment venues and modern restaurants.

 

From the analog pencil sketches taken from drone footage to the computer-generated imagery they eventually became, our VFX team did not rest until they had something convincing to show. And their hard work really did pay off – the final result speaks for itself.

The Shoot

We were tasked with the awesome responsibility of telling this story. Geneva Seal entrusted us to take their brand of nationally-renowned sophistication and, through the eyes of our video production, bring its history to life. But video production does not simply start when the camera begins to roll, and it certainly does not end when it ceases…

 

After delivering a custom script for approval, Location was our next focus: Chicago. Sore-front stills and stock-shots of the iconic city streets were taken, as well as footage captured of city-scapes through the eyes of a drone.

 

Then came the talent. Scouting for a voice-over and finding just the right fit is not always the easiest thing to do; how do you find a voice that tells an inspiring story but stays true to the elegance of the brand itself, and is compelling, all at the same time? Well, we like to think we found it.

 

And of course, no story-telling video is complete without effective music as company.
All of these elements came together in the end to tell the story of a 50-year old legacy, a family business, and a brand that embodies timeless sophistication, style, and value.

VIVID Fogless Film

The creator of VIVID Fogless Film hired our team to produce this instructional video, to focus on the benefits and use of her new anti-fog-film for the bathroom mirror. 

Aside from the obvious, a secondary objective for this project was to brand VIVID before the official launch in the Amazon marketplace. For these reasons, we blended elements of an instructional video with that of a company profile so this could be used in immediate marketing efforts while remaining an evergreen piece of media to aid in the consumer experience.

 

The true value here is that this video equips consumers with more knowledge of the product so they can make more informed decisions, ultimately, leading to an increase in conversions. The reason it is so important to have a video such as this at the time of launch is that in the absence of customer reviews, the VIVID brand needed some form of efficacy to thrive in the e-commerce landscape. And without a website, this proved all the more valuable.

 

All in all, there were few challenges on set. Filming in front of mirrors is sometimes tricky, especially when working in tight spaces, but this didn’t pose an obstacle to our team. The other challenge was concerned with the content. Not only did the instructional video need to flow seamlessly, but we also had to sell the fact that this product is for bathroom mirrors. Articulating this without saying it required some inventive ideas, and in the end, we found the right solution. Check it out!

When they were ready to launch their latest product, the Eyeglass Pillow, they came to us because of the work we did for Ghostbed and the success of their ad campaign.

 

LaySee Pillow wanted to hit the market hard with a memorable and catchy piece of visual media that would encourage users to explore their brand and make a purchase. With this goal in mind, we created a straightforward ad with eclectic characters that is both fun and succinct. We included bite-sized pieces of information on the screen in the form of text to educate consumers on the benefit of their product and leave a lasting impression.

The Sounds of Champions Video Series

Monster Music, in collaboration with Roc Nation, hired us to conceptualize and produce a video marketing series promoting their new line of headphones and speakers.

 

The Sound of Champions accomplishes two functions:

  1. it introduces a new line of state-of-the-art music products, showcasing various products without overwhelming consumers, and
  2. it reshapes the application and use of their products, situating their gear in the arena of health and fitness alongside relaxation and leisure.

 

To meet the standards of Monster Music, Roc Nation, and their consumer base, we chose to create athletic showcases featuring star athletes in boxing and basketball.

Monster Music Athletes

The athletes are, ultimately, the centerpiece of our series, however, subliminally attached to their character is the presence of Monster Music marketing. This soft-sell elevates the series, creating a Nike-Esque marketing scheme in which consumers identify with the character and the sensation of using their products more-so than the product itself.

 

Featured in the video above is Luis Arias, an American professional boxer currently at work with Mayweather Productions. On the right is another professional boxer, Guillermo Rigondeaux Ortiz, a Cuban professional boxer and two-weight world champion in the bantamweight and super-bantamweight divisions. The video below features former NBA star, Charlie Villanueva, a New York-born star of Dominican heritage with over a decade of actively playing in the NBA.

Each narrative is a chapter in a larger story. They are effective when viewed individually but are significantly more powerful when viewed as a whole. A Creative Marketing Concept For Nike Sneakers

We developed this creative marketing concept for Nike sneakers to tell a different story — one of failure, perseverance, and remembrance.

 

What is failure other than a starting point? 

To us, failure is a path from which one can mature and better themselves. No one is perfect. And those that are wildly successful encountered countless missteps. But they kept going. Not all people respond to defeat the same way, though. Some give up while others dig deeper and push beyond whatever they thought capable. Within this context, not every tale of failure has a happy ending. Some people face defeat and never go beyond that threshold. But that is not to say they remain defeated. This creative concept is one such story.

 

Sports brands often rely on a theme of failure and triumph to rally their demographic. Again, most of us have faced failure. Those who have endured and overcome tend to connect with this cliched narrative. That’s why it is so wildly popular in mainstream marketing. Besides, who doesn’t identify with an underdog story? But what of the others? Who is sharing the story of those who were dealt a bad hand — who failed and never triumphed but persevered?

 

Our creative concept is powered by the heart of the athlete and the love of the sport. Failure is a chief theme. Triumph is not. With the negation of triumph and happy endings, we invoke remembrance. Some of us don’t play to win; to prove our strength; to show that failure does not have a hold on us. No. Some of us play for the love of the sport; for the freedom of remembering our childhood; for the feeling of our feet leaving the ground.

The Story Is the Product

From an advertising standpoint, this creative concept is selling Nike sneakers. From a marketing and branding standpoint, it is showing how Nike products empower everyday athletes.

 

A brand as massive as Nike demands clever marketing such as this. Hard sells don’t work. Nike’s consumers are influenced by storytelling. The product is second to emotion. Therefore, this creative marketing concept for Nike sneakers places feelings of empathy above product shots. This tactic strengthens the appeal of the advertisement and equips Nike sneakers with more value than what the product offers.

 

The defining moment — where the story becomes an advertisement — is confirmed 27 seconds into a 30-second video. The Nike sneakers are planted in the center of the frame. This moment is timed with a break in the dialogue. A pause lingers as the sneakers fill the screen. And when they lift off, the final words are spoken, pairing feeling with the product.

 

As an homage to a brand we love, we chose to conclude the video advertisement with an iconic shot. In the context of failure, this serves an intended purpose. We wanted to show that even athletes who fail and never triumph carry their heroes and their love for the game in every step taken on the court. This is a big moment and one that resonates with our audience. What it confirms is that you don’t need to be a star athlete to take flight like you always dreamed you could.

Behind The Scenes On The Set Of Nike

We filmed this video campaign idea for Nike in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We rented a high school gym and captured all of the photography and video content over the weekend. Our entire production team helped bring this idea to life. Working on creative videos like this is a great team-building exercise and perhaps one of the most enjoyable parts of working with our studio.

 

We faced a few challenges during production. One was significantly more stressful than the rest!

 

On the first day of filming, we set up the scene. Standard. We tested the lighting. Set the mood with the fog machine. Set the camera track and so on until we were ready to start filming. The only problem… we were still waiting for our talent to arrive. Suddenly we get a phone call from the talent’s manager. They canceled on us last minute without explanation. Can you believe that? But we didn’t give up. No, we embodied the spirit of Nike and persevered.

 

Fortunately, luck was on our side. Outside the gym was our saving grace, the athlete seen in the video and the photography. It honestly could not have worked out any better. He was a great guy to work with and injected this video concept with the exact emotion we had envisioned.

Nike Training Campaign Concept

We are attached to the brands we use most, so when we’re inspired to create something original for a brand we love, we get right to work. When planning our passion projects, we aim to recreate what should be. We take the time to step back and analyze a brand from a new perspective — an artistic one. A while back, we had this idea for Nike of an athlete running through California’s rugged wilderness. The purpose of this creative marketing concept for Nike sneakers was to attach the brand to nature and fuse the product with the environment. The result is that the viewer can feel the apparel as if they are feeling the weather. It places our audience in the setting, showing them how it feels to wear Nike.

JustCBD is an industry-changing force. They are representing the CBD culture differently than any other brand before them. They strive to educate the world about the power of CBD’s holistic properties without embellishing the facts. JustCBD uses world-class labs to test their products and provide the most accurate scientific data to their consumers. They are backing the future of CBD with truth and data. Thus, elevating the reputation of the industry and culture.

 

JustCBD’s methodology and honesty have taken their brand global. They are instigating a new age of respect for their industry and their craft. Moreover, they are inspiring a new culture of CBD advocates. JustCBD needed their media to reflect their stance on transparency and wholesomeness. So, they enlisted our photography department to revamp their product marketing with fresh, organic, and truthful media.

 

A Brief Overview of JustCBD Product Photography

 

The timing of our collaboration is pivotal for JustCBD’s expansion. They are in the process of elevating their online presence with new and improved product photography. They requested media assets that would not only enhance their digital advertising, but also aid in growing their social media profile on Instagram, which is on the verge of reaching 50k consumers daily. Therefore, JustCBD asked us to diversify the spread of media. They asked for clean product photography similar to the type seen on Amazon; requested organic lifestyle photography; and asked for dimensions that would work well as digital banners for the use of social and google advertisements.

The Direction and Intention of JustCBD Product Photography

We always learn about the brand and the industry before starting a project. It’s important to do independent research first then ask the client questions directly. It’s amazing what type of information you’ll learn by studying online resources in addition to listening to what the client has to say. This is where we started before photographing any JustCBD product photography. We first studied their current media and how they represent their brand online. Then we started a conversation with the client to learn their vision, intent, and style. Research is the only way to guarantee that the delivered product aligns with the client’s business goals.

 

This is what we learned

 

Our research into JustCBD’s current product photography proved there was a disconnect between the brand’s philosophy and their media. Their products are natural and organic, as is their language and their social media. Yet, the product photography on their website appears artificial. The true essence of the brand and the value of the product is lost. In short, the photos are edited way too much. This taught us two valuable pieces of information which we used to distinguish our photography:

  1. They needed to connect their media with their core values to take their business to the next level, and
  2. The content needed to feel natural.

For this product shoot, we photographed 10 products that cover 8 commerce categories.

The Natural Essence of JustCBD Products

As you can see, the results of our photography on JustCBD’s products shows that the brand’s products match their promise. The viewer can see the sticky sugariness of their gummies. They can smell the natural aromas of the CBD oil. They can foresee the excitement their pup will have at the sight of a steak-shaped treat! We present the products in their most natural, untainted form. We did not try to disguise the products, and we feel that impacts the way the consumer feels when they see the photography.

 

Ultimately, we limited our post-production editing so the imagery remains truthful. We did not over-saturate the colors, nor did we sharpen the outlines of certain candies. This went a long way in accentuating the holistic goodness. Also, by taking the product out of the packaging and placing it in the hands of the consumer, we create a craving for JustCBD goodies. These lifestyle shots elevate the entire gallery. They are strong images that encourage the consumer to explore the brand in more depth. Whether they choose to shop online or study the brand’s culture on social media, doesn’t matter. What’s important is that the photography inspires the consumer to take action.

If parents cannot laugh at their own misery, what else can they laugh at?

Label Daddy hired us to create an original, entertaining and comedic company profile video to be the centerpiece of their website. They wanted a video that told a story. But not just any story. They wanted one that most every parent could empathize with. And if there is one state-of-mind that every parent is familiar with, it’s chaos.

 

We put our collective thinking together (and gathered the parents in our studio) to come up with some household pain points that most everyone has experienced. After the concept was decided we wrote the script and got to filming Label Daddy’s company profile centerpiece.

 

Chaos and order are the rivals of every young household. One is practically guaranteed. The other not so much. Our idea was to show how Label Daddy brings order to the chaos. From screaming children, disastrous living rooms, childish squabbles, and one smooth daddy comes this hilariously accurate video production.

The Brand

Light of Mine is a young company — an artisan candle maker — breaking into the industy. Their brand and product converges on multiple lifestlyle frontiers, so the expanse of their marketing needs is vast. Light of Mine appeals to many demographics, weaving a line between grassroots, artisan, luxury, and homely groups. This required that we represent their brand and product under unique lights to appeal to all of their audiences. The scope and versatility alloted by this project was tons of fun for our team of photographers, who painted Light of Mine in so many differnet ways.

Product Photography

First, we wanted to introduce Light of Mine’s product to the market. Again, Light of Mine appeals to multiple lifestlyes, so we needed to diversify our style, dressing the product differently in each shoot. Our photographers utilized setting, ingredient, and pacakaging to contextualize the product. Consumers who shop for holistic products gravitated towards the photographs showcasing the ingredients in each product. Those who are guided by nostalgia and sensation agreed with photography that incorporated setting as the primary artistic driver.While those who shop with their eyes, preferred photography that highlighted product packaging.

Lifestyle Photography

Once Light of Mine’s product infiltrated the market, we got to work creating a lifestyle campaign. This served two puproses:

  1. To attach the product with an intimate way of living.
  2. To extend Light of Mine’s reach into untapped markets.

An entire video campaign was born from the following product shoot. The photography was beautifully rustic and passionate. It shows two people in love embracing for different reasons with a Light of Mine candle at their side. In this photo shoot, we saw how beautifully the power of people — the human spirit — played with the product. So, we created a video campaign highlighting the power of the humna spirit.
