Two Town Halls. One Consistent Standard.

We supported H&M through two internal town halls in New York City, each with distinct challenges. The first was a third-party venue we scouted and vetted, and the second was H&M’s NYC headquarters.

 

H&M had a specific requirement for both events: deliver live-streamed events with real-time accessibility in English, Spanish, and Canadian French. We utilized AI and traditional tech to provide translated subtitles and audible voice interpretation, integrated directly into the live streams. Post-event, we delivered all three language transcripts for H&M’s video archives.

Two Unique Town Halls. One Consistent Standard.

We supported H&M through two internal town halls in New York City, each with distinct challenges. For the first, we conducted a full location scout to find a third-party venue that aligned with H&M’s global aesthetic and was fully capable of supporting our live stream infrastructure.

 

The second town hall was hosted at H&M’s NYC headquarters, which required creative solutions to transform their dedicated operational space into a fully built live production set. H&M had a specific requirement for both events: deliver live-streamed events with real-time accessibility in English, Spanish, and Canadian French. We achieved this with a seamless blend of AI and human translated subtitles and audible voice interpretation, integrated directly into the live streams. Post-event, we delivered fully translated transcripts in all three languages for H&M’s video archives.

Full-Scale Event Production at the Virgin Hotel & Casino

The H&M Region Americas Summit in Las Vegas was a flagship event—and a massive undertaking. We began with a venue scout and planning session months in advance, working hand-in-hand with the in-house team at the Virgin Hotel and Casino to run a multi-day event inside their largest theater.

 

We coordinated cross-country crew travel, including transporting our 7-ton grip truck from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Our live stream and production crews ran an 8-camera setup, including a jib camera for sweeping cinematic shots. Over four days—including setup, rehearsal, and execution—we directed every element of the show: lighting, music, screen playback, and multi-feed live stream switching.

International Video Production Expertise

Our work at 12 Place Vendôme is a testament to our global production experience, as we had the incredible responsibility of filming inside three of Chaumet’s most famous rooms: the historic Salon Chopin (pictured left), the elegant Salon des Perles, and the iconic Salon des Diadèmes, where hundreds of nickel-silver and hand-painted tiaras are displayed on the walls. We have worked with Beatriz several times throughout the last few years here at C&I. From the first shoot that we collaborated on, it was very clear that Beatriz was made for this career. She maintains such natural energy, follows direction well, and embraces every opportunity to positively engage with the people she works with.

 

A Miss Brazil USA 2018 runner-up, Beatriz really brings out the best from our team. This particular shoot was challenging, as we wanted to capture Beatriz and all of her visual potential perfectly. We decided to compliment and emphasize her look by shooting her on a bike. We then took this one step further, and added dramatic and colorful lighting. All of these factors came together to form some fantastic final images. Beatriz was a real pro, and our team was able to capture her powerful presence, while also flattering her graceful beauty.

Lighting is Everything

The purpose of this production was to produce high-quality images for the e-commerce website and social media pages of the global jewelry brand Lola Rose. We understood the assignment! We worked closely with Lola Rose to ensure that we captured their gemstone dials in the best light possible.

 

Jewelry needs to be photographed in a particular lighting that captures their unique details and effortlessly showcases the craftsmanship that goes into creating them. In the case of Lola Rose, we focused on their elegant Malachite watches.

Understanding the Intent of Lola Rose

At C&I Studios, we understand that professionally taken, high-quality, images are the only way to promote high-end jewelry like Lola Rose’s Malachite watches. With this in mind, we captured a variety of content from close-up shots of the watches to videos of the products being worn by models with an array of skin tones.

 

Our thought process behind this was to give the everyday buyer an accurate visual representation of what to expect. By photographing different women with different skin tones, Lola Rose has the ability to expand their brand awareness to women who can relate to the content we produced.

Our Innovative Ideas and Production Knowledge Achieve Impossible Outcomes

Inspired by Lola Rose’s elegant charm and sophistication, our production crew set out to create a space with the same upscale elegance. In order to have the custom set read on screen in the best way possible, our set designers used rigs, mounts, reflectors, and diffusers to create the set you see in the video.

 

We took our time to color match the set to Lola Rose’s exact brand colors and installed decorative panel moulding on the walls; simple details that gave the room the same upscale elegance that Lola Rose exemplifies. It’s considerations like these that elevate our professional storytelling abilities above our competitors. Standing Out from the Crowd

After we wrapped up filming the first seasons of Top Recruiter in Miami, the Human 2 Human TV network producers came to us with a proposal to direct the next seasons of their reality series in London. Producing original content is our passion, and they knew that we’d take a unique approach when filming their series. As an independent studio company we have the ability to go beyond the limitation of traditional filming, and with over a decade of expertise we are constantly way ahead of the game. As always, we used our premium 5k Red Scarlet Dragon and 6k Red Epic cameras to get the highest quality videos.

 

While filming the first two seasons of Top Recruiter, we filmed most of the show on location throughout Miami. For contestant interviews, B-roll clips, trailers, and Top Recruiter’s promotional media, we filmed inside of our fully equipped production studio in Fort Lauderdale. Years later, when we headed to London to film the third and fourth seasons we scouted an enormous castle that was able to house the entire production and crew during filming.

Bleu de Chanel’s brand is luxurious and sophisticated, so we wanted to create a promotional video that exuded the same aesthetic. This video is simple, clean, and sophisticated.

 

This promotion is a fully 3D rendered project that we created in our own studio, no need for the product to be photographed. It shows off the product in a simple, realistic-yet-fantastical representation. It’s a promotion we are incredibly proud of, and one that Chanel can be proud to promote.

Flawless 3D Rendering

We meticulously crafted this promotion leveraging our cutting-edge 3D rendering program, Cinema 4D. This advanced software enables us to achieve unparalleled realism and precision, allowing for seamless integration of lifelike textures illuminating the glass bottles with a captivating radiance that mirrors their real-world counterparts. The results are photorealistic.

 

Taking the production a step further, we also rendered the captivating sight of Bleu de Chanel resting upon a rippling liquid floor, symbolizing the invigorating sensations evoked by this remarkable fragrance. This subtle yet enchanting animation adds a touch of fantasy while remaining true to the renowned Chanel brand.

 

Our in-house studio composed the accompanying audio, crafting original music that elevates the promotional video above its competitors. By integrating custom sound design, our production captures attention and leaves a lasting impression.

At C&I, we were challenged with how we could shed the light on WellOff elixirs. We had a detailed product photography session with the aim of leaving nothing hidden from the lens. No doubt, people love what they understand, and what better way to introduce your brand than perfect publicity.

 

We took pictures of all the WellOff combinations available, and also had a video recording session. You should check it out.

Creating Marketing Materials that Work Together

The video we produced with BB Sheep is versatile enough to be used for multiple of their marketing campaigns. We produced an engaging video of fun music, bright colors, and happy people. We took photographs that mirrored the theme of the video so that any campaign BB Sheep uses both in are seamless. These photos can work as promotional materials as well as product photography for their e-commerce websites. Creating marketing materials that work together will enforce brand awareness for BB Sheep, and in turn boost the reach of their marketing campaigns. We wanted to make sure their products were captured and marketed beautifully to match the beauty of their business.

Something for Everyone

C&I Studios worked with BB Sheep to create a campaign that includes both photography and video. We were able to get amazing footage and photographs with a production team of five to six people using both the Canon 5D and the Red Monstro cameras. We wanted to show off the size diversity of the products BB Sheep sells. It was also important to capture the many different colors available.

We have helped Kinbe Kids create two brand videos that highlight how devoted they are to providing premium leather baby moccasins that allow infant’s feet to breathe and move freely. Kinbe Kids

There is this joy that spreads from your heart to your soul when you get the opportunity to see babies in their happy hours. Kinbe Kids’ is an online store that specializes in selling the best quality shoes for infants. We collaborated with them in bringing their ideas to life by photographing their products in action. To pass across the right message and connect with Kinbe Kids’ target audience, young parents and new moms, we used actors who were part of the same demographic.

Aqua Hair Extensions

At C&I Studios, we were tasked to shed the right light on the brand, Aqua Hair Extensions, and to capture the community it created in the fashion and beauty niche. For a brand like Aqua, which already has a steady following, we knew that the challenge would not be to break the market but to create a better understanding of how it is a lifestyle for those that use it. That reason was not lost on us when we began planning the project. The job could have been given to anyone but they came to us because they trusted our sound judgement. We came to a conclusion that we would create a series of videos that showed Aqua educators how to put their training into practice.

 

We shot over three days to get the job done and used two different cameras on different session days, our RED Scarlet and Monstro one day and the Raven and Dragon on the other. We developed the studio into an interview setting so that we could have renowned hair stylists who use the products tell us how they improved their business with it.

We needed to project the unique image and style the brand is known for, their idea of beauty, and how they appeal to consumers from various walks of life. It was also important to highlight all the unique hairstyles, textures & colors to justify just how much more than a trend Aqua Hair extensions are. So we also had a product shoot where we captured all the products in Aqua’s inventory.

The Gear We Used

Delivery

Our method was to capture various content related to the attendee’s reactions to everything. This allowed us to let viewers get a deeper perspective on Aqua Extensions classes which are engaging and fun.

 

The challenge was shooting in a very standard hotel conference room with little room to maneuver, so we needed to get shots that did not focus on the location as much but directly on the subject and what they were doing.

It is rare to get full creative control over a project, but that’s exactly what the Uncreative Shop team gave us when they asked us to help with their photoshoot. Chicago. A city of noise, congestion, people—and above all, innovation. For the family behind Geneva Seal, this is home. A city where progress and handwork have allowed them to plant roots that span more than 50 years. When they came to us, they were looking for a way to tell this story, a story of humble European origins, and a rich family heritage that unites sophistication and elegance.

 

This once small business had evolved from the early days of importing diamonds to today, where they deliver over four thousand pieces a year. And they needed us to deliver this information, whilst evoking in the viewer their brand’s joint principles of service, quality, value, and trust. For Geneva Seal is more than just about business. They are about legacy.

The Animation

Perhaps the most rewarding challenge of this project was the 2D and 3D animations involved in pulling the whole thing off. Luckily, our graphic design team was ready and eager to rise to the challenge.

 

Our research on the Fulton Market district formed the basis of an intimate study, which was how we were able to capture the authenticity of these iconic buildings in an area known for its hip entertainment venues and modern restaurants.

 

From the analog pencil sketches taken from drone footage to the computer-generated imagery they eventually became, our VFX team did not rest until they had something convincing to show. And their hard work really did pay off – the final result speaks for itself.

The Shoot

We were tasked with the awesome responsibility of telling this story. Geneva Seal entrusted us to take their brand of nationally-renowned sophistication and, through the eyes of our video production, bring its history to life. But video production does not simply start when the camera begins to roll, and it certainly does not end when it ceases…

 

After delivering a custom script for approval, Location was our next focus: Chicago. Sore-front stills and stock-shots of the iconic city streets were taken, as well as footage captured of city-scapes through the eyes of a drone.

 

Then came the talent. Scouting for a voice-over and finding just the right fit is not always the easiest thing to do; how do you find a voice that tells an inspiring story but stays true to the elegance of the brand itself, and is compelling, all at the same time? Well, we like to think we found it.

 

And of course, no story-telling video is complete without effective music as company.
All of these elements came together in the end to tell the story of a 50-year old legacy, a family business, and a brand that embodies timeless sophistication, style, and value.

PERETTI ITALY

Peretti Italy is an up and coming Italian fashion brand that we developed and positioned for international success.

The designer, Analisa Perretti, hired our team to design a chic brand image and lead the debut of her first fashion line: a collection of Italian summer dresses. The main challenge here was launching a brand with enough appeal to compete with the most popular high-end fashion brands in the industry, like Luis Vuitton, Prada, Dulce & Gabbana, and so on. This was a major challenge as Peretti Italy was entirely unknown and, therefore, did not have any standing in the fashion industry leading up to launch. But that wouldn’t stop us. All of these services played an essential role in our overall launch strategy. With each successive piece of content in place, we were able to steadily build momentum and scale Annalisa Peretti’s social media following while positioning her audience to become first-time buyers at launch.

BRAND EVOLUTION

The evolution of the Peretti Italy brand was one of the more exciting developments.

 

We presented many options to the client, showing various applications of the brand in action to provide a realistic real-world point of view. After narrowing down our top 3 logos, we applied the favorited logos to multiple frontiers from storefront mockups to packaging, stationery, and more.

 

Our all-inclusive approach presents all of the necessary information for the client to make the best decision for their business. Furthermore, this level of detail provides rare insights into the evolution of the brand following launch.

 

No matter the project, we approach everything with one mindset: this brand is going to make it big! Because of this, we plan the brand’s growth years down the road. This forward-thinking snapshot shows what we expect the brand to achieve.

SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT

We handled every aspect of Annalisa Peretti’s social media accounts in the months leading up to launch.

 

In an effort to position Annalisa Peretti, the chief designer of Peretti Italy fashion, as a thought leader in her industry, we created a diverse menu of media showcasing her luxurious lifestyle.

 

The media we created is all set in Los Angeles and aims to connect the designer’s personality with her profession: fashion. We photographed Annalisa Peretti wearing beautiful outfits from other top designers and walked the city with her to get these amazing shots.

 

Overall, this was used to tease the launch of her fashion line and begin conditioning her audience to receive ads and interact with intake forms for use in further marketing efforts.

 

We managed thousands of engagements, interacting with social media users around the world. It was our mission to elevate Annalisa’s audience’s perception of her and win over their trust before marketing her fashion line. To this end, we accomplished our mission.

The generations that came before us have always tried to belittle us. They think we should abide by their social constructs; their traditions; their boring lifestyles. And when we don’t they label us outliers. What they fail to grasp is that we are carving our own path, living by our own philosophies, and creating art that has a place in the present and the future, not the past.

 

Yes, they labeled us Uncreative… but in doing so, they gave us the power and the reason to create works of art that don’t, and will never, belong to them.

Brand Awareness and the Art of the Sale

Video production is the new king of media content.

Consumers are more likely to engage with video content over any other form of media because it has an unparalleled ability to connect emotionally with viewers. As leaders in content creation, we knew that the Uncreative brand would thrive using videos, so that’s exactly what we prioritized.

 

Aside from our geo-targeted video ads, like the Maui shoot with Patty Lee, we chose to use video throughout the site to empower the shopping experience.

 

Whereas most brands rely on product photography, we chose to showcase everything through video. When a user enters the product page they can see exactly how an item fits and moves with the body. This gives the consumer a more informed outlook before making a purchase, which consequently encourages more users to take action when shopping for Uncreative apparel.

A look into the Fort Lauderdale Talent Pool

We have deep ties to the artists’ community. Especially here in South Florida. We host creative events, like our Crew Call talent event, and use our resources to shed light on rising talent, regardless of their industry. Our collaborations with artists, like Metisha, are mutually beneficial, which is why the media content comes out so beautiful.

 

Our business’ marketing strategy requires that we are constantly producing original media for our brand. Sharing our passion for art is how we connect with our audience, so shoots like this are always at the forefront of our agenda. They are our segue into new frontiers. And we are always on the hunt to capitalize on those newly presented opportunities.

 

But these model profiles are not solely about us, which is another reason we enjoy them so much. They are about the people we work with: the people behind the camera, as well as those in front of it. Understand that everyone in the creative business relies on media reels to show off their skills and get hired for new jobs. When we watch a model reel that is completely dominated by the brands they’re modeling, we’re somewhat disappointed. Not in the model. In the fact that their talents are being overshadowed by a product. This is one of the reasons we started doing these model profiles in the first place.

 

Models are always in ads and working hard for other brands. We wanted to do something that was purely about them; where nothing — no product, no logo, no agenda — is stealing their spotlight.

Behind the scenes on the set of the Metisha Model Profile

For this shoot, we used our RED Monstro 8k with the Vista Vision sensor because of the outstanding dynamic range and higher ISO. We outfitted the Monstro with a Leica Vista Vintage Lens to incorporate a tone that couldn’t be applied in post-production.

 

Leica has always been a beacon for incredible craftsmanship, so incorporating their gear into this shoot was a no brainer. The combination of high-tech, ultra-modern tech with Leica’s old-school equipment created a unique cinematic tone, which really made this production what it is.

 

We were fortunate to work with Metisha on this shoot. The original talent canceled last minute. Rather than scramble to reschedule, we were able to find Metisha, who showed up at 5 AM to deliver on an awesome performance.

 

Perhaps the highlight of this shoot (and most definitely one of the most nerve-wracking moments) was when Metisha scaled the edge of the building. There was nothing separating her from the ground eight stories below — no guard rail, no harness, nothing. Capturing that daring maneuver put this model profile on another level.
