Solving a Content Awareness Problem

There’s only so much a textbook can do before your brain checks out. Simple Nursing knows that. They’ve built a business turning dry nursing material into something students can actually absorb and remember. The problem was that most of their audience only watched their content on YouTube and not the vast archive of content on their website. So when they asked us to produce a pair of video ads to promote their platform, the goal was simple: Bring awareness to the wealth of exclusive video content on their website.

We handled the full production and post for two spots: one grounded in a classroom setting, the other styled like a high-energy hospital drama. Different vibes, same result: Attention-grabbing, shareable videos that actually say something about what Simple Nursing delivers.

The Classroom Spot

The first of two videos takes place in a classroom setting, where the Simple Nursing team is brainstorming ways to let students know that only 20% of their content lives on YouTube, while the full library is actually on their website.

Casting and location mattered. We wanted to replicate a community college energy, but with sharper lighting and better wardrobe. We built a controlled classroom environment that gave us full lighting control while still capturing that slightly soul-sucking, all-too-familiar academic vibe.

The Hospital Drama Spot

The second spot was a tasteful nod to modern hospital dramas like Grey’s Anatomy and House. The concept was that Simple Nursing videos act like a remedy for academic burnout, reviving focus, clearing mental fog, and helping students push through the hardest parts of nursing school. It was a playfully dramatic way to say their content can resuscitate your motivation and keep you moving.

Creating the hospital set was a challenge. We had to build the look from scratch, which meant sourcing scrubs, props, monitors, and staging materials that could sell the ER vibe without stepping into a real one.

Relatable Content for Impactful Ads

You’ve got a course, a platform, a product that helps people learn something hard. But the market’s noisy and dry, and that makes it difficult to attract your audience’s attention. So how do you stand out? You make something watchable. Then make it shareable. And then make sure it still teaches while it sells.

We can help with that. Let’s make the kind of video you’d actually want to click.

Capturing a Community That Moves Markets

When the South Florida Bond Traders Association (SFBTA) gathered in Boca Raton for their 2020 Conference, we came ready to move through crowded networking sessions, keynote addresses, and after-hours receptions with one goal: make every shot feel as real as the people in it.

Photographing a financial industry conference isn’t about staged headshots or awkward group poses. It’s about catching real interactions, new connections, and the energy that happens when the markets pause just long enough for people to talk face to face. The people who come to SFBTA events care deeply about what they do. Our job was to make sure that passion came through in every frame.

Live and Virtual Event Execution at Scale

H&M entrusted us with the challenge of producing a series of high-level live stream and video experiences for their Region Americas division—events designed to connect thousands of employees across North, Central, and South America. The scope included two internal town halls in New York City and a multi-day corporate summit in Las Vegas, each with its own technical demands, creative direction, and logistical complexity.

These productions went far beyond simply broadcasting meetings. They required flawless execution across multiple languages, seamless collaboration with international teams, and the ability to transform physical spaces into polished, on-brand experiences that aligned with H&M’s global identity.

Two Town Halls. One Consistent Standard.

We supported H&M through two internal town halls in New York City, each with distinct challenges. The first was a third-party venue we scouted and vetted, and the second was H&M’s NYC headquarters.

H&M had a specific requirement for both events: deliver live-streamed events with real-time accessibility in English, Spanish, and Canadian French. We utilized AI and traditional tech to provide translated subtitles and audible voice interpretation, integrated directly into the live streams. Post-event, we delivered all three language transcripts for H&M’s video archives.

Two Unique Town Halls. One Consistent Standard.

We supported H&M through two internal town halls in New York City, each with distinct challenges. For the first, we conducted a full location scout to find a third-party venue that aligned with H&M’s global aesthetic and was fully capable of supporting our live stream infrastructure.

The second town hall was hosted at H&M’s NYC headquarters, which required creative solutions to transform their dedicated operational space into a fully built live production set. Full-Scale Event Production at the Virgin Hotel & Casino

The H&M Region Americas Summit in Las Vegas was a flagship event—and a massive undertaking. We began with a venue scout and planning session months in advance, working hand-in-hand with the in-house team at the Virgin Hotel and Casino to run a multi-day event inside their largest theater.

We coordinated cross-country crew travel, including transporting our 7-ton grip truck from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Our live stream and production crews ran an 8-camera setup, including a jib camera for sweeping cinematic shots. Over four days—including setup, rehearsal, and execution—we directed every element of the show: lighting, music, screen playback, and multi-feed live stream switching.

One of the Summit’s highlights was an unexpected twist: a custom-built Jeopardy-style game built by our creative tech team. Initially a simple request, we elevated it into a full-scale, interactive experience that mirrored the real game show—down to automated button scripting and dynamic visuals. Attendees were blown away by the high production value, and H&M’s hosts were able to engage the room like true TV presenters. It was a moment of fun and innovation, powered by our in-house creative and technical expertise.

The Crew That Makes It Happen

Large-scale productions like these don’t run on luck—they run on people. Our crew brought together a deep bench of seasoned professionals across every department: camera operators, 1st ACs, jib operators, BTS shooters, grips, gaffers, audio engineers, livestream producers, and a dedicated show runner guiding it all from start to finish.

This team moved with precision, communicated with clarity, and adapted instantly to the shifting demands of each production day. The energy was focused, the pace was fast, and the results reflected the kind of professionalism that comes from real-world experience. When clients or venue staff work with us, they know immediately: this is a crew that knows what they’re doing.

Safe Driving Campaign with NHTSA and the NFL

C&I Studios partnered with Sinclair Broadcast Group and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to create a visually compelling campaign that promotes safe driving. By leveraging high-speed cinematography and NFL talent, we delivered impactful footage for the video production that encourages drivers to slow down and make responsible choices.

This project featured two standout NFL athletes and Super Bowl champions: Xavier Worthy and Mecole Hardman Jr.. Worthy, known for setting the fastest 40-yard dash time in history, brought his lightning-fast speed to the campaign, contrasting perfectly with the core message: slow down when it matters most. Similarly, Mecole Hardman Jr., celebrated for his incredible agility and explosive plays, was an ideal fit for promoting the importance of focused decision-making—whether on the field or the road. Together, these two athletes helped bring the campaign’s message to life, reinforcing the need for awareness and caution behind the wheel.

Our team fine-tuned every shot, color-graded for cinematic appeal, and refined the storytelling to align with NHTSA’s mission. While our responsibilities here did not include post-production editing, we are artists at heart, so we also created some internal BTS edits from the footage, a few of which you can view below.

Capturing the Dream for DIRECTV

We were called on to capture a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Erica Sluder, the winner of the DIRECTV Derby Dream Sweepstakes. This sweepstakes gave Erica the opportunity to attend the prestigious Kentucky Derby, and our role was to document the magic of this event, creating high-quality content to promote the DIRECTV brand and its unique customer engagement initiatives. Our team executed the entire production, from on-site videography and photography to post-production editing and final delivery for both online and TV distribution.

Production Professionals

As a full-service production company, C&I Studios handled every aspect of the project. We were on-site at the Kentucky Derby to film Erica’s exclusive experience, capturing her journey in both video and photography. Our crew worked seamlessly to cover all event angles, ensuring we documented the vibrancy of the Derby atmosphere and the personal moments that made Erica’s day unforgettable. From capturing the elegance of the Derby fashion to the excitement at the race, we ensured that each shot enhanced DIRECTV’s vision of an unparalleled “Dream Experience” event.

Our large-capacity studio grounds are highly spacious and big enough to fit anything; yes, cars too.

The goal here was to utilize the best videography strategies and low lighting to create a cinematic-style ad for the Ford Mustang that captured what it felt like to drive it.

The shoot was done inside our studio, using a Cyclorama wall. Our experts at C&I Studios were able to capture amazing visuals with the aid of our state-of-the-art photography equipment. From close-ups to the interior and the entire body, we captured all the angles!

Time-consuming set-ups aren't necessary for creating dramatic lighting effects

Our extensive knowledge of how to use lighting to create drama in a video helped us create the perfect results for the Ford Mustang’s promotional ad. With the correct lighting, you can set the right mood. Our photographers make use of dramatic lighting in conveying meaning and emotion rather than simply capturing a subject’s physical appearance.

There are many bright and creative people working for C&I Studios who understand what it takes to create genuinely spectacular brand videos. Our video crew and editors have all worked on numerous projects across a variety of industries. Because of this, we are able to provide you with the finest possible service.

We work with brands to create masterpieces based on their vision, personality, and ideas.

76 Words

With 76 words, we have filmed numerous campaign videos and ads for political candidates at all levels. We all have the same goal in mind: to connect voters with candidates who have their best interests at heart, and this has resulted in a decade long collaboration.

When U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Mastro was running for the position of United States Senator for the state of Nevada, we worked with 76 words and created her campaign videos to help her reach out to people and explain her desire to correct the bias laws that had left hundreds of women with limited access to healthcare.

Among the numerous jobs we have worked over the years include:

  • The dallies. A political series that discusses policies and interventions.
  • Jose Hernandez’s campaign video for California’s 10th district Congress seat where we showed the people who the man they wanted to vote for truly was.
  • Congress candidate, Steven Horsford campaign ad. He ran on the premise of educational reform for the state of Nevada. We emphasis on the fact that Education is not something that can be taken away from the American people, and it should never be limited.
  • Congressional Candidate Jeff Van Drew’s campaign ad. He later ran against Seth Grossman, who violently opposed providing medical insurance coverage to American’s with pre-existing conditions.
  • American Nightmare The political ad that shed light on the hatred propagated by President Donald Trump and Chair of the Republican National Committee, Ed Gillespie.
  • Representative Lisa Montelione’s campaign video that was super creative and unique where we emphasized on her determination to work at all times for her constituents.

We also worked to educate people about the importance of new laws, such as Initiative 940, which would help reduce unnecessary violence by police officers by providing funding for them to be trained in nonviolent tactics.

Delivering Creative Solutions

Because of our ability to cover events anywhere around the world. Pierce and C&I Studios were on the scene together at the Grovetown, GA city fair. This fair was intended to provide uplift and relief to low income families in the area. Our goal for this was to capture the emotion behind enjoying the little things in life. The heartfelt moments and temporary mental relief that a fun, free experience provides. It was a daring approach that paid off.

The Purpose

Pierce has successfully made us their go-to digital company. Appealing to human emotions would be almost impossible without the help of captivating visuals. We’ve collaborated with Pierce on several projects thus far, another of which was Philadelphia Activation. Going into this project our aim was to detail the spectacular highlights of this event. In order to capture every detail we needed we used Drones and shot all media in 4K. Quality images and videos like the content we created for Pierce Promotions can be repurposed after the event for social media or used in the marketing campaigns of future events.

Telling Their Story

A Fine Solutions sought to improve their marketing reach, so they hired C&I Studios to create a video that tells their business story. Sam Jacobs, CEO, explains directly to his audience how the company reclaims valuable materials from the shredding industry, by providing unique portable machinery. They offer you and your business an easy and portable way to retrieve downstream materials. With two different types of Mobile Matrix Systems (MMS) available on portable trailers, they have a solution to suit your company’s sustainability needs. Their services can help you save money by reclaiming usable material and recycling it, instead of throwing it out into landfills.

Conceptual Communications

Conceptual
Communications
video

What is conceptual communication?

Conceptual communication is a part of our everyday life. When dealing with others, how you communicate will influence how they feel and behave, which can make or break your job. Learning how communication works and some basic communication skills will make life a lot easier for all parties involved. Put plainly, communication is the process of sending and receiving information. It includes both verbal and nonverbal communication. Conceptual communication, mostly regarded as Visual and non-verbal communication entails using our imagination, to pass information.

Images first appeared between 10,000 and 45,000 years ago. Cro-Magnons began to sculpt, engrave, and paint wild creatures, human hands, and abstract patterns on their bodies and in caves. The first petroglyphs were made 10,000 BC in the Neolithic era – figures cut in stone that served as the beginning of the creation of written symbols.

Body language

Our facial expressions, tone of voice, gestures, posture, eye contact, and touch all communicate messages. When the verbal and nonverbal (body language) messages disagree, communication is misconstrued. People will become perplexed when you say one thing, but your body sends a different message. When confronted with contradictory messages, most individuals will believe what they see. You’ve most likely heard the expression “actions speak louder than words.” That is especially true in this case. You must be conscious of both your own and other people’s body language.

Visual communication

What exactly is visual communication?

Visual communication is the use of images to convey information. Visual communication with graphs and charts frequently supports written information and, in many cases, replaces it entirely. As the saying goes, “a picture is worth a thousand words,” and visual communication is often more potent than spoken and nonverbal communication. Visual communication is now much easier to express because of technological advancements.

Assume you need to find a way out of the building. You do not notice the signpost with the inscription, but you locate the sign with the image of the open door. That is Visual communication.

Visual communications design is typically created by a team of people, including artists, public relations managers, and marketers, and designers.

video

Ways a business can achieve effective communication

Visualization improves our ability to perceive information. A person can understand the message of a sign or commercial image in a matter of seconds. The primary applications of visualization are as follows:

Graphic design: Graphic design is a type of visual communication with certain aims that can be met through effective graphic design. It entails visually expressing concepts through the use of various graphics tools.

Interaction Design: Today, digital products such as applications are employed as strong tools to transmit messages and information. Digital products are made up of various aspects, each of which interacts with the consumer in a unique way. Interaction design is a design technique in which designers focus on how a product and its features interact with users. The relevant information is transmitted to end-users through the interactive design of digital products.

Brand Identification: Brand identity refers to the symbols, logos, shapes, and other visual components that different brands use to represent themselves. These are simple to recall, and whenever a person sees a brand’s emblem, they can associate it with the brand. A well-known company’s logo provides information about the product. For example, if you see an image of Medusa the Gorgon on the perfume bottle, you know it’s a Versace perfume.

video
play-sharp-fill

Words are not always the most effective approach to express information and ideas. Sometimes rich pictures, rather than endless paragraphs of text, are the best way to tell a narrative. Good illustrations are focused and communicate the most crucial message quickly. Reports should be useful while also being simple to read. Flowcharts should emphasize the distinctions between old and new processes. It’s easy to overwhelm your viewers with too many ideas at once when generating images. The greatest images convey the message clearly, focusing attention on what is most important.

Paralenz

Dive in and enjoy the underwater scenery over and over again with a Paralenz camera rental

Paralenz wanted to highlight not just their amazing underwater cameras with these videos, but also that you don’t have to purchase one to create amazing underwater videos. And C&I Studios met that challenge!

As a company, Paralenz understands that not everyone is able to purchase underwater filming equipment, and so Paralenz has set up rental spots for anyone, from divers to snorkelers, beginners and experts, one-time users or avid ocean explorers to use at a moment’s notice. They wanted to show the world that everyone can access these amazing devices through rental locations in South Florida (US) and the Napoli Coast of Italy.

Paralenz Camera

The Paralenz video cameras are both easy to use under the water and do more than just record video. Your videos are uploaded to an app on your phone or other device, making them easy to share anytime and anywhere. The app also tracks your dive, sending the scientific information to conservationists to help keep our waters clean and thriving.

C&I Studios was able to create videos for Paralenz that showcase all this information. With professional video production, C&I Studios can highlight specific aspects of any business, such as rental options and locations, and how a product can be put in the hands of anyone who wants to use it, as well as feature a company’s story or a quick overview of the whole business. Videos draw in more views than just graphics and photos alone as they allow for more interaction between the viewer and the company.

End Results

For this project, C&I Studios shot video in two locations, in Florida (US) and the Napoli Coast of Italy where the Paralenz camera rentals are currently available. We can work from any location for any business, even on a boat or underwater!

C&I Studios was able to create not one, but two videos that work together seamlessly while showing off the unique aspects of each location that Paralenz rentals ar available. The videos feature local culture and scenery that are found only in South Florida and the Napoli Coast of Italy and why you’d want to be able to film your underwater diving adventures while visiting!

C&I Studios worked on this project from beginning concepts to post-production. We secured all talent from actors to production crew, filming locations and props that were used, and saw the project through to the end, creating a riveting piece of professional art that both C&I Studios and Paralenz can proudly display.

Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

Telling their story

“The greatest Boat Show on the Seven Seas”

Located a few steps from the beach in South Florida, FLIBS stretches to 90 acres across three million square feet of exhibit space. With translucent water, the striking coastline in sunny South Florida, it is a heaven for passionate boat lovers.

When they approached us to shoot the promotional video for the 60th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, they wanted us to capture the true spirit of the show and what makes it unique and the largest in-water boat show in the world.

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is an economic powerhouse.  The show has a massive impact on the local and statewide economy. It offers significant support to the $12 billion South Florida marine industry and supports critical economic certainty and job growth. With the promo, they wanted us to highlight the main offerings of the show.

The Shoot

We were super excited to shoot the promo for this extravagant and one of the most anticipated events of the year. Suffice to say the video production team had a big job on their hands.  The Boat show has a huge buzz, and our task was to add more flair. The organizers were looking to hit the milestone by reaching record-breaking attendees.  It didn’t need to be barrier-breaking content, but our team knew that the project required a sense of drama and excitement. With the Boat show having a loyal and vocal following, our main job was to keep them interested while attracting new followers.

When it comes to the marine industry, the content is very crucial. The marine industry needs content that has striking visuals. It has to be something that educates and enhances the audience’s interest. Our idea was to create a promo with noteworthy information and appealing visuals.

The video production team captured the alluring visuals to showcase the boats and exotic venue. To give the audience an idea of what they should expect from the show: the video precisely highlighted the attractions of the Boat Show.

The next step was the voice-over. Finding the right voice for the promo is no easy task.  How do you find the charismatic voice that draws attention and influences the viewers to attend an event?  Eventually, the production team found someone who got the people buzzing about the show.

Worth mentioning, no promo is complete without the uplifting and enticing music.

All elements came together to create an exciting promo to put the people in the mood for the highly-anticipated International Boat Show.

Telling the Story.

“Our collective efforts to build something have made this city thrive… and our family’s no different.”

Chicago. A city of noise, congestion, people—and above all, innovation. For the family behind Geneva Seal, this is home. A city where progress and handwork have allowed them to plant roots that span more than 50 years. When they came to us, they were looking for a way to tell this story, a story of humble European origins, and a rich family heritage that unites sophistication and elegance.

This once small business had evolved from the early days of importing diamonds to today, where they deliver over four thousand pieces a year. And they needed us to deliver this information, whilst evoking in the viewer their brand’s joint principles of service, quality, value, and trust. For Geneva Seal is more than just about business. They are about legacy.

The Animation

Perhaps the most rewarding challenge of this project was the 2D and 3D animations involved in pulling the whole thing off. Luckily, our graphic design team was ready and eager to rise to the challenge.

Our research on the Fulton Market district formed the basis of an intimate study, which was how we were able to capture the authenticity of these iconic buildings in an area known for its hip entertainment venues and modern restaurants.

From the analog pencil sketches taken from drone footage to the computer-generated imagery they eventually became, our VFX team did not rest until they had something convincing to show. And their hard work really did pay off – the final result speaks for itself.

The Shoot

We were tasked with the awesome responsibility of telling this story. Geneva Seal entrusted us to take their brand of nationally-renowned sophistication and, through the eyes of our video production, bring its history to life. But video production does not simply start when the camera begins to roll, and it certainly does not end when it ceases…

After delivering a custom script for approval, Location was our next focus: Chicago. Sore-front stills and stock-shots of the iconic city streets were taken, as well as footage captured of city-scapes through the eyes of a drone.

Then came the talent. Scouting for a voice-over and finding just the right fit is not always the easiest thing to do; how do you find a voice that tells an inspiring story but stays true to the elegance of the brand itself, and is compelling, all at the same time? Well, we like to think we found it.

And of course, no story-telling video is complete without effective music as company.
All of these elements came together in the end to tell the story of a 50-year old legacy, a family business, and a brand that embodies timeless sophistication, style, and value.

URBN SOCIAL

URBN Social is a community network that supports black-owned businesses, artists, entrepreneurs, intellectuals, spokespeople, politicians… you name it!

They share empowering and controversial news, as well as uplifting social trends, to both publicize and empower the black community. Their entire brand is about owning one’s identity and having pride in one’s heritage.

It can be said that URBN Social exists purely to celebrate black culture while providing audience’s around the world with an outlet to communicate their perspective, support one another, rally behind worthy causes, and see that wealth and social power builds in predominantly black communities.

However, even in this context, their message transcends race. They preach all-inclusivity. And though they only highlight black-owned businesses, artists, and trends, they do so to shed light on a culture that invites everyone — regardless of race, religion, age, or political orientation — to embrace, celebrate, and learn from the richness and beauty of their community.

We were here to see that URBN Social’s full potential could be reached. They came to us to rebuild their website and modernize their brand for a global undertaking. They have huge ambitions and it was clear that their original website could not carry their brand to the heights they envisioned. So, we go to work redesigning their social network so they could see their vision through.

Florida Quality Roofing

Giving a family-owned business the means to expand their market.

Florida Quality Roofing has been in business since 2002, and even before that their roots dug deep into roofing craftsmanship. When the family business was passed down to the next generation, the new president and vice president contacted us to modernize their brand.

They were lacking quality media content and had an outdated website that needed improved functionality. After learning their business goals, we got to work creating a new website built to enhance conversions and house their new media content, of which client testimonials were a major part. Of the many services we provided, the following were the most crucial to their business:

  • Video Production
  • Website Design and Development
  • Marketing

A complete website overhaul was the most essential aspect of modernizing Florida Quality Roofing. It guided content generation and provided deep insights on what else was needed to get the job done.

COVID-19 Business Update

Navigating uncertain times with class.

The novel coronavirus outbreak in the U.S. put many businesses in a hard place. Profits shrunk overnight, existing client work was postponed or vanished entirely, and businesses’ ability to conduct their normal services was greatly limited in an effort to flatten the curve.

Florida Quality Roofing was not immune to this massive economic shift. However, unlike most businesses, they did not roll over and wait for this period of uncertainty to pass us by.

Rather, they adapted to the situation and enlisted our video production services to inform their clientele of the safety measures being employed companywide and their continued ability to provide 5-star roofing maintenance and replacement despite the circumstances.

Proactive business strategies such as this are the most effective way of capitalizing on the economic uptick once the time. Even though this is a rather simple message, it reassured Florida Quality Roofing’s clientele and reinforced their dedication to the community. By remaining vocal and present they put their business in a good position to capture to convert clients and improve lead generation.

If you wear seeing eyeglasses, then you know how uncomfortable it is to lay on your side. Pillows simply do not agree with glasses. They shift your sight, press your glasses into your skull, or completely obstruct your view of the television! Well, not anymore.

LaySee Pillow invents comfortable, practical solutions for everyday people. Their innovations in the home goods retail department have been a great benefit for people of all ages, especially those who wear glasses. When they were ready to launch their latest product, the Eyeglass Pillow, they came to us because of the work we did for Ghostbed and the success of their ad campaign.

LaySee Pillow wanted to hit the market hard with a memorable and catchy piece of visual media that would encourage users to explore their brand and make a purchase. With this goal in mind, we created a straightforward ad with eclectic characters that is both fun and succinct. We included bite-sized pieces of information on the screen in the form of text to educate consumers on the benefit of their product and leave a lasting impression.

Moss Construction

Moss Construction’s dedication to excellence and transparency has made them a household name in the construction industry.

Their honest, intelligent, and thoughtful approach to business are all distinguishing characteristics that have led to them being one of the most recognizable construction firms in operation. Their work philosophy combined with their collection of sustainable, award-winning buildings has grown their company into one of the largest in the industry.

The Moss team spans the entire United States with offices in Hawaii, California, Texas, and Florida. And that is who we were hired to highlight. When Moss Construction approached us, they asked for two videos:

  1. to showcase their award-winning buildings
  2. to spotlight their outstanding company culture

When spotlighting their company culture, we chose to inject a bit of humor into the piece. This was a key element in showing the human factor in their business and the many unique personalities that contribute to their ongoing mission. As a whole, this video sheds light on the outstanding people at the helm of their business, as well as the scope of their influence.

These videos were originally revealed at Moss Construction’s annual company retreat in dedication to all of their employees, but remain a valuable asset for their branding and marketing.
